Fair Work Australia is conducting its first review of modern awards.  In the President’s statement he indicated that the review would take the form of interested parties making applications to vary the awards where they considered technical and drafting issues existed.  Initail submissions were required by 8 March 2012. FWA will release a timetable for responses shortly.
